Practice History

Dr. Thomas Blair originated this practice after World War II in the late 1940's.  It was originally located in the Nissen Building in downtown Winston-Salem, NC.  Dr. Rodger Lofland joined the practice in 1970 and Dr. Marten Quadland joined in 1971.  The practice moved to 1700 South Hawthorne Road in 1972.  Dr. Mark Shehan joined the practice in 1987.  The practice moved to the present location (1601 South Hawthorne Road) in 1991.  Dr. Todd Smith joined the practice in 1994.  Drs. Blair and Lofland are now deceased.

This practice has been providing for the surrounding community for over 50 years and is one of the oldest established practices in the South.
