Dr. Quadland has been in the practice of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery in Winston-Salem, NC since1971. After completion of his high school education in Williamstown, MA, he graduated from Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH in 1962. Dr. Quadland then attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA and graduated in 1966. Following a two year tour of active duty with the United States Army Dental Corps, Dr. Quadland obtained his specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at the New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center in New York City.

Special areas of interest for Dr. Quadland include temporomandibular joint surgery, dental implants, bone grafting and orthognathic surgery including treatment of patients with severe obstructive sleep apnea. Dr. Quadland performed many innovative surgical procedures in the late 1970's and early 1980's designed to implement the use of dental implants at a time when dental implants were just beginning their rise in popularity.

Dr. Quadland has been a member of the American Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons since 1972 and the Southeastern Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons since 1974. He also maintains membership in the American Dental Association and many state and local societies of dentistry and oral and maxillofacial surgery.  Dr. Quadland has presented topics in oral and maxillofacial to groups on the local, state, and national levels over the past thirty-three years.  He was a founding and charter member of a NC Dental Implant Study Club called the Dental Implant Associates of North Carolina.
