GENERAL PHILOSOPHY

Drs. Quadland, Shehan, and Smith PA have an uncompromising commitment to place the patient first. This principle guides the formulation and evaluation of all procedures and conduct whether Administrative or Clinical. Our goal is to provide professional (Medical/Dental) service of the highest quality for patients, while maintaining an environment that fosters the professional and personal growth of the individual staff member.

We strive to be kind, sympathetic, and understanding with all patients, no matter how trying the circumstances may be.

SURGICAL PHILOSOPHY:

The surgical staff is dedicated to providing the best, most current surgical care in order to resolve those oral and maxillofacial problems the patient presents with. This will be done in a warm, caring, safe environment where patient needs and desires are given our undivided attention. We are dedicated to the total surgical management of each patient including pre-operative, operative and post-surgical periods. Realizing that we are a business and fees for service maintain our ability to serve the public, we will, however, manage trauma, pain, infection and pathology as a priority and then work with the patient in the fairest most equitable manner to attend their financial obligations

ADMINISTRATIVE PHILOSOPHY:

It is realized that the administrative staff is essential in allowing us to serve the public. Without their support in maintaining a smooth, functioning business office, the surgical staff would not have the opportunity to treat patients. The administrative department is dedicated to providing each patient with expedient, courteous service in handling all their business matters in order that they may maximize their interaction with the surgical staff. Furthermore, they are dedicated to seeing that each patient receives maximum reimbursements from their insurance carriers in a timely fashion. The administrative department is further charged with properly scheduling patients and activities in such a fashion that provides maximum convenience and minimal waiting time for patients.
